Never Judge Anyone

Never Judge Anyone

A doctor entered the hospital in hurry after being called in for an urgent surgery. He answered the call , changed his clothes & went directly to the surgery block.

He found the boy’s father pacing in the hall waiting for the doctor.
On seeing him, the dad yelled: “Why did you take all this time to come? Don’t you know that my son’s life is in danger? Don’t you have any sense of responsibility?”

Never Judge Anyone

The doctor smiled & said: “I am sorry, I wasn’t in the hospital & I came as fast as I could after receiving the call…… And now, I wish you’d calm down so that I can do my work”

“Calm down?! What if your son was in this room right now, would you calm down? If your own son dies now what will you do??” said the father angrily
The doctor smiled again & replied: “I  will say what Job said in the Holy Book
“From dust we came & to  dust we return, blessed be the name of God”. Doctors cannot prolong lives. Go & intercede for your son, we will do our best by God’s grace”
“Giving advises when we’re not concerned is so easy” Murmured the father.

The surgery took some hours after which the doctor went out happy, “Thank goodness!, your son is saved!” And without waiting for the father’s reply he carried on his way running. “If you have any questions, asks the nurse!!”

“Why is he so arrogant? He couldn’t wait some minutes so that I ask about my son’s state” Commented the father when seeing the nurse minutes after the doctor left.

The nurse answered, tears coming down her face: “His son died yesterday in a road accident, he was at the burial when we called him for your son’s surgery. And now that he saved your son’s life, he left running to finish his son’s burial.”

Good words bad words

Good words bad words

Once upon a time, in a small city a very healthy calf was born . Since he was well bred for strength, he was bought by a high class rich man. He became very fond of the gentle animal, and called him 'Hunter'. He took good care of him and fed him only the best. When Hunter grew up into a big fine strong bull, he thought, "I was brought up by this big-hearted man. He gave me such good food and steady care, even though sometimes there were difficulties. Now I am a big grown-up bull and there is no other bull that can pull as heavy a load as I can. Therefore, I would like to use my power to give something in return to my master."

So he said to the man, "Master, please find some wealthy merchant who is proud of having many strong bulls. Challenge him by saying that your bull can pull one- hundred heavily loaded bullock carts." Following his advice, the high class rich man went to such a merchant and struck up a conversation. After a while, he brought up the idea of who had the strongest bull in the city.

The merchant said, "Many have bulls, but no one has any as strong as mine." The rich man said, "Sir, I have a bull that can pull one hundred heavily loaded bullock carts." "No, friend, how can there be such a bull? That is unbelievable!" said the merchant. The other replied, "I do have such a bull, and I am willing to make a bet." The merchant said, "I will bet a thousand gold coins that your bull cannot pull a hundred loaded bullock carts." So the bet was made and they agreed on a date and time for the challenge.

The merchant attached together one-hundred big bullock carts. He filled them with sand and gravel to make them very heavy. The high class rich man fed the finest rice to the bull called Hunter. He bathed him and decorated him and hung a beautiful garland of flowers around his neck.

Then he harnessed him to the first cart and climbed up onto it. Being so high class, he could not resist the urge to make himself seem very important. So he cracked a whip in the air, and yelled at the faithful bull, "Pull, you dumb animal! I command you to pull, you big dummy!"
The bull called Hunter thought, "This challenge was my idea. I have never done anything bad to my master, and yet he insults me with such hard and harsh words!" So he remained in his place and refused to pull the carts. The merchant laughed and demanded his winnings from the bet. The high class rich man had to pay him the one thousand gold coins. He returned home and sat down, saddened by his lost bet, and embarrassed by the blow to his pride.
The bull called Hunter grazed peacefully on his way home. When he arrived, he saw his master sadly lying on his side. He asked, "Master, why are you lying there like that? Are you sleeping? You look sad." The man said, I lost a thousand gold coins because of you. With such a loss, how could I sleep?"

The bull replied. "Master, you called me 'dummy'. You even cracked a whip in the air over my head. In all my life, did I ever break anything, step on anything, make a mess in the wrong place, or behave like a 'dummy' in any way?" He answered, "No, my pet."

The bull called Hunter said, "Then Master, why did you call me 'dumb animal', and insult me even in the presence of others? The fault is yours. I have done nothing wrong. But since I feel sorry for you, go again to the merchant and make the same bet for two thousand gold coins. And remember to use only the respectful words I deserve so well."

Then the high class rich man went back to the merchant and made the bet for two-thousand gold coins. The merchant thought it would be easy money. Again he set up the one hundred heavily loaded bullock carts. Again the rich man fed and bathed the bull, and hung a garland of flowers around his neck. When all was ready, the rich man touched Hunter's forehead with a lotus blossom, having given up the whip. Thinking of him as fondly as if he were his own child, he said, "My son, please do me the honour of pulling these one hundred bullock carts." Lo and behold, the wonderful bull pulled with all his might and dragged the heavy carts. The merchant, with his mouth hanging open in disbelief, had to pay the two thousand gold coins. The onlookers were so amazed that they honoured the bull called Hunter with gifts. But even more important to the high class rich man than his winnings, was his valuable lesson in humility and respect.

Moral of the story :

Choose your words wisely, they can play decisive role in your life. Harsh words bring no reward. Respectful words bring honour to all.

Inspirational story : Saint and Scorpion

Inspirational story : Saint and Scorpion

One day a Saint meditating near the river. After he had finished his meditation, the Saint opened his eyes and saw a scorpion floating helplessly in the water for his survival. As the scorpion was washed closer to the tree, the Saint quickly stretched himself out on one of the long roots that branched out into the river and reached out to save the drowning scorpion. As soon as he touched it, the scorpion stung him. Impulsively Saint withdrew his hand. A minute later, after he had regained his balance, he stretched himself out again on the roots to save the scorpion. This time the scorpion stung him so badly with its venomous tail that his hand became swollen and bloody and his face contorted with pain.

At that moment, an onlooker saw the Saint stretched out on the roots struggling with the scorpion and shouted: “stupid man, what's wrong with you? Only a fool would risk his life for the sake of an ugly, evil creature. Don't you know you could kill yourself trying to save that ungrateful scorpion?"

The Saint turned his head. Looking into the stranger's eyes he said calmly, "My friend, just because it is the scorpion's nature to sting, that does not change my nature to save."

Inspirational Story : Man With Lamp

Inspirational Story : Man With Lamp

A man woke up early in order to pray in the Mosque. He got dressed, made his ablution and was on his way to the Mosque.

On his way to the Mosque, the man fell and his clothes got dirty. He got up, brushed himself off, and headed home. At home, he changed his clothes, made his ablution, and was, again, on his way to the Mosque.

On his way to the Mosque, he fell again and at the same spot! He, again, got up, brushed himself off and headed home. At home he, once again, changed his clothes, made his ablution and was on his way to the Mosque.

Inspirational Story : Man With Lamp
On his way to the Mosque, he met a man holding a lamp. He asked the man of his identity and the man replied "I saw you fall twice on your way to the Mosque, so I brought a lamp so I can light your way." The first man thanked him profusely and the two where on their way to the Mosque.

Once at the Mosque, the first man asked the man with lamp to come in and pray with him. The second man refused. The first man asked him a couple more times and, again, the answer was the same. The first man asked him why he did not wish to come in and pray.

The man replied "I am Satan."

The man was shocked at this reply. Satan went on to explain, "I saw you on your way to the Mosque and it was I who made you fall. When you went home, cleaned yourself and went back on your way to the Mosque, God forgave all of your sins. I made you fall a second time, and even that did not encourage you to stay home, but rather, you went back on your way to the Mosque. Because of that, God forgave all the sins of the people of your household. I was afraid if i made you fall one more time, then God will forgive the sins of the people of your village, so i made sure that you reached the Mosque safely."

Why Do People Shout In Anger

Inspirational Story : The Locked Door

Inspirational story : Three feet from gold

Inspirational story : Three feet from gold

One of the most common causes of failure is the habit of quitting when one is overtaken by temporary defeat. Every person is guilty of this mistake at one time or another. An uncle of R. U. Darby was caught by the "gold fever" in the gold-rush days, and went west to DIG AND GROW RICH. He had never heard that more gold has been mined from the brains of men than has ever been taken from the earth. He staked a claim and went to work with pick and shovel. The going was hard, but his lust for gold was definite.

Inspirational story : Three feet from gold

After weeks of labor, he was rewarded by the discovery of the shining ore. He needed machinery to bring the ore to the surface. Quietly, he covered up the mine, retraced his footsteps to his home in Williamsburg, Maryland, told his relatives and a few neighbors of the "strike." They got together money for the needed machinery, had it shipped. The uncle and Darby went back to work the mine.

The first car of ore was mined, and shipped to a smelter. The returns proved they had one of the richest mines in Colorado! A few more cars of that ore would clear the debts. Then would come the big killing in profits.

Down went the drills! Up went the hopes of Darby and Uncle! Then something happened! The vein of gold ore disappeared! They had come to the end of the rainbow, and the pot of gold was no longer there! They drilled on, desperately trying to pick up the vein again-all to no avail.

Finally, they decided to QUIT. They sold the machinery to a junk man for a few hundred dollars, and took the train back home. Some "junk" men are dumb, but not this one! He called in a mining engineer to look at the mine and do a little calculating. The engineer advised that the project had failed, because the owners were not familiar with "fault lines." His calculations showed that the vein would be found JUST THREE FEET FROM WHERE THE DARBYS HAD STOPPED DRILLING! That is exactly where it was found!

The "Junk" man took millions of dollars in ore from the mine, because he knew enough to seek expert counsel before giving up. Most of the money which went into the machinery was procured through the efforts of R. U. Darby, who was then a very young man. The money came from his relatives and neighbors, because of their faith in him. He paid back every dollar of it, although he was years in doing so.

Long afterward, Mr. Darby recouped his loss many times over, when he made the discovery that DESIRE can be transmuted into gold. The discovery came after he went into the business of selling life insurance (latter part of the 19th century).

Remembering that he lost a huge fortune, because he STOPPED three feet from gold, Darby profited by the experience in his chosen work, by the simple method of saying to himself, "I stopped three feet from gold, but I will never stop because men say `no' when I ask them to buy insurance."

Darby is one of a small group of fewer than fifty men who sell more than a million dollars in life insurance annually. He owes his "stickability" to the lesson he learned from his "quitability" in the gold mining business.

1001 ways to become rich overnight

1001 ways to become rich overnight

Once upon a time, there was a poor man. Due to his poor economical condition, he thought to end his life by committing suicide. When he was on the way to finish his life he noticed a bookseller selling a book called “1001 ways to become rich overnight”. He thinks “i am going to end my life but there is no harm to read this book before that. If it works then i will change my idea”. So he buys the book.
The book wasn't very interesting, but between its pages there was something very interesting indeed. It was a thin strip of vellum on which was written the secret of the Touchstone.
The touchstone was a small rock that could turn any common metal into pure gold. The writing explained that it was lying among thousands and thousands of other stones that looked exactly like it. But the secret was this: The real stone would feel warm, while ordinary stones are cold. So the man camped on the seashore, and began testing stones.

Inspirational story :1001 ways to become rich overnight

He knew that if he picked up ordinary stones and threw them down again because they were cold, he might pick up the same stones hundreds of times. So, when he felt one that was cold, he threw it into the sea. He spent a whole day doing this but none of them was the touchstone. Yet he went on and on this way. Pick up a pebble. Cold - throw it into the sea. Pick up another. Throw it into the sea.
The days stretched into weeks and the weeks into months. One day, however, about mid-afternoon, he picked up a pebble and it was warm. He threw it into the sea before he realized what he had done. He had formed such a strong habit of throwing each pebble into the sea that when the one he wanted came along he still threw it away.
Inspirational moral of the story
Unless we are watchful, it's easy to fail to distinguish an opportunity when it is in hand and it's just as easy to throw it away. The problem is we never know when the door of opportunity is going to open wide. For some, the big break comes early in life and for others later on. But for all of those who become successful, there is one key similarity: They were ready. Getting opportunity is one thing but to feel it and use it to the fullest is a different ball game. When one looks around in our society, one can come across many live examples of ordinary people who were prudent to spot the opportunities at various times and make use of it.
